- Acted for The Wisden Cricketer magazine (the best-selling cricket magazine in the world) in relation to general commercial matters and for the shareholder on the sale of the magazine to BSkyB Publications Limited
- Advised venture capital client on its investment into 7digital, a leading digital media/music download company
- Advised the sellers in relation to the sale of John Wisden and Company Limited, publishers of the Wisden Cricketers' Almanack, to Bloomsbury Publishing plc
- Advised the sellers in relation to the auction sale of a major oil & gas applied technology company
- Advised a significant mining company with operations in Africa on its admission to London's AIM, the secondary stock exchange
- Advised the buyer in relation to the acquisition of the French and Italian bureau de change businesses of Travelex
- Advised the directors in relation to the leveraged buy-out of a large event management company
